Parisa is a young funky brand specifically targeted at ladies that want to have fun with what they wear...and make that all important statement. We met up with the Rusana & Nasima the talented duo behind the creations ....
So tell us a bit about your background?
Well to put it simply, two friends that have always had a passion for fashion got together, neither of us have any official fashion experience. We got together and set up Parisa. Nasima: Iv'e been making clothes since I was 16 as a hobby which soon grew into a passion. Rusana has enjoyed doing fashion styling @ catwalks and also designing in her spare time. We met and found that we had something unique and formed the Parisa label
Where do you draw your inspiration from?Everywhere, we both have a difference in taste , Rusana likes couture, Nasima likes more urban so we mix things together, we get our inspiration from things that we have experienced, seen, art work, music, surroundings, places we have visited.
What has been the hardest part of setting up the label & what advice do you have for others?
Because we didn't go to fashion school we kind of have less of an understanding about the fashion industry, but our business side of things are excellent we are experts in marketing and finance degree wise so we know how to market a business and finance it. If we could give any advice the first thing would be to follow your dreams it took us a little longer but we eventually got there; secondly do what you love doing and believing in yourself!...it is so important if you think what you are doing is great then so will other people and your natural talent will shine

Cheryl Cole, Thandie Newton, Alexa Chung, The Saturdays
And last but by no means least, we always like to end on a random question so when was the last time that you cried?
Nasima: When I lost my Blackberry last month!!
Rusana: At my cousins wedding!
