Joe Jury

Fat Talent have had the pleasure of Joe Jury performing at our shows on several occasions. He is a phenomenal talent with vocals & stage prescences well beyond his years.

Although he was born in London, Joe Jury,18, grew up in the Cotswold. At school acting and singing were the only things that got him out of bed in the morning

At the age of 17, encouraged by this local success, Joe left college, and the Cotswold, in the Autumn of 2011 and moved to London. Joe says:  "Moving to London was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made, I literally gave up everything to do this. So many people told me I was too young and it was stupid of me to do it, turns out it was the best decision of my life and I've never been happier. I may be sleeping on peoples couches for now but who knows what will happen over the next couple of years, all I know now is its going very well and I’m enjoying every minute."

Mr Arch

Mr Arch has re-emerged onto the scene as a solo artist. Having moved from grime to hip hop, a musical genre in which he feels he can better express himself.

Working hard in the studio, Mr Arch has recorded many tracks refining his style, to bring the real essence of hip hop; true lyricism with meaning, and original beats combining what's real, with what's sick! Whether you want something different, you want something that makes you think, or you want something you can just vibe and relate to, Mr Arch will impress.

Pop Songstress "Penny Hannant"

Penny Hannant is the small singer with a big voice.

The 24 year old singer/songwriter from Norwich completed an Artist Developement programme at Major Music in London where she began writing and recording her own tracks and has been doing so ever since. Her lastest material has been described as a female CEE LO GREEN, which is high praise indeed!

Female Rapper - "Sykes"

Skyes is a Birmingham based Rap Artist/ Song Writer.

The talented artist has opened concerts for established Artist such as Mary J Blige, Angi stone, Jon b, Buju Banton, Klashnikoff. Warmed up Fans at Watch the Throne Concert Jayz and Kanya West (Birmingham Lg).

Most recently Sykes has collaborated with KID fusing Rap with Rock, Hip Hop and Dance. ‘Ghosts’ Ep is available on Itunes now, Electric Love video available on YouTube.

MILA FALLS is bringing fun back to pop!

The lovely, quirky singer songstress Mila Falls is all out dressed to impress and has a personality to match!

The talented lady is a singer, songwriter and producer.

As a writer Mila Falls has had her tracks in USA films such as "Bring It On". Recently she has been finishing her debut album. This features co-writes with some of the worlds Grammy Award winning heavy-weights with credits such as Britney Spears, Beyonce and Outkast.

Tbless - UK Rap just got a new rising star

Tbless returns to the scene following a two-year hiatus with his brand new single 'Rebirth', featuring singer / songwriter Orlando.

The North London Rapper says "I’m an artist that only deals with the truth, I’m the voice of the unheard, I try to reflect the feelings of ordinary people. I’ve released several projects in my career so far. I’m trying to turn negatives into positives and hopefully people that listen to my music will be inspired to do the same thing. That’s what the album and the single is all about. That’s the concept I’m working from."

Vardo & The Boss

Vardo and the Boss from Colchester, England, create a sound that blends piano and acoustic guitar with powerful female vocals that echoes the female rock artists of the mid-90s such as Alanis Morissette and Fiona Apple. More recent artists that VATB have been compared to are The Noisettes, Paloma Faith and Florence and the Machine.

The group are a mis-matched bunch, comprised of a singer-songwriter, a classical pianist  and a rhythm section plucked from the Colchester metal scene. The songs on the new EP hint at the varied influences of the band members. From the feel good pop stylings of the opening track Im Not Sorry right through to the explosive outro of Shame. The sound that has resulted from such varying sources of inspiration is surprisingly distinct; catchy choruses, meaningful lyrics and the instantly recognisable blend.

Mynature

Born and raised in Woolich South East London, Mynature is fast becoming a rising star on the urban music scene

2012 has seen the recent release of his album ' It’s My Nature' which promises to make ear’s in the music industry stand to attention whilst including features from some of the biggest names in urban music right now. The 20 track album features Dot Rotten, Smiler, Raheem and Billionaire Ben and is mostly Mynature doing what he does best, telling stories through rhyme and lyricism over gritty hip hop beats.

Rickstar

Rickstar, a young singer hailing from the UK, is a talented young performer with the potential to make a major impact on the struggling UK R&B scene.

Growing up and living between America and London, singer, songwriter and dancer 'Rickstar' comes from a talented family. His mother, father and godmother are all singers so it made natural sense for Rickstar to follow in their footsteps.

As a  youngster, Rickstar was exposed to an array of musical genres and cultures, one being the sounds of the legendary Detroit label, "Motown". Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Diana Ross and the supremes are among the list of many of the Motown artists Rickstar seeks musical inspiuration and influence from. Rickstar channels the sounds of the Motown era with his infectious mix of R&B, Pop and Soul.

KI-Faro

Drawing inspiration from musicians as diverse as 2Pac, Dizzee Rascal, Bob Marley and Jamiroquai, KI-Faro represents the fresh face of Urban music, incorporating his emceeing skills over a mixture of grime, dubstep and mainstream beats.

2012, saw the release of KI Faro’s first debut single, ‘Made in the Mana’, which denotes the real beginning of his voyage into the ever popular Urban music scene. KI-Faro performs this Sunday @ Fat Talent LIVE

Singer/Songwriter Naomi Omuoreh

Naomi Omureh is a talented Singer/ Songwriter from Colchester. The teenager has been singing and playing acoustic guitar since the tender age of 9 and started writing her own songs about two years ago.

Sugar House

The newly formed SUGAR HOUSE: is a five piece band consisting of lead vocals, guitars, bass and drums. Their music is best described as a fusion of funk, rock, reggae and soul with a lot of energy, imagine Jamiroquai meets Kings of Leon.

The talented band met at The British Academy Of New Music and have since combined their styles and influences in music, to create their own unique sound. You can catch a live performance from the band this Sunday 7th Oct @ Fat Talent LIVE

 

Rajiv: CATCH ME IF YOU CAN ft. Mr Arch

Rajiv released his brand new single CATCH ME IF YOU CAN ft. Mr Arch on September 16th 2012. It is an exciting uptempo track, laced with dubstep and hiphop vibes. The track was produced by producer David Brant (Mis-Teeq, Nate James) and Funkiipapa (Ianna Harvey) and co-written by Doris Pearson, one of 80's megastars FIVE STAR. UK Rapper, Mr Arch also features on this track with his 'in-yo-face' tone and lyrical flow.

Rapper / Producer - King Kash

Born in Ukraine, to Ugandan parents and raised in Walthamstow, East London - Rapper / Producer King Kash started rapping at the young age of 8 about the same time as he began being taught classical cello as part of a School Music Programme. Although he later stopped playing Cello, he honed his rapping ability through battles in school and freestyling.

Singer/Songwriter Laura Wolfie

19 year old Laura Wolfie is one of London’s brightest emerging talents. From an early age, the Seven Oaks born singer has combined a natural gift for song-writing with raw passion for music.

With influences ranging from Lauryn Hill, Jazmine Sullivan, Wiley, Mz Bratt, The Sex Pistols, The Weeknd and Elvis etc; Wolfie thrives on blending an array of genres to create a cutting-edge underground UK sound.

Laura has studied at the prestigious ICMP in London for the last 2 years and is now based in the capital working on a solo album. Wolfie is certainly a name to look out for in the coming months as her hard work and talent begins to gain the recognition it so rightly deserves
