So guys, its been a while & wev'e missed you lol!...but everything appears to be going well, fill us in with all the latest news from your camp?

Well we have released our debut album on Phoenix Down records entitled "The Way" which after 3 years of hard work was great to see it out there and the response it's getting. We have just finished filming the fourth video from the album for the next single "It's the love" and we mad excited about it cause the concept for the video is CRAZY haha. Apart from that Chima is embarking on a solo project that is gaining momentum and to be honest it's something quite phenomenal...

Musically, what are your long term ambitions?
International recognition to the point where we could go to any major city and put on a good show for those that appreciate the art.

You guys are known for your entertaining performances & genius freestyles...who or what inspires you?
Life and Love. Artistically it's broad from Dilla, through to Radiohead, back to portishead then up to Jay-Z. Too many to mention. I would like to give a special shout to the new era beatmakers though - Hudson Mohawke, Samiyam, Dizz1, Flying lotus - this new sound has really reinvigorated our love of music and inspires us to make more.

I see that you have broadened your empire and launched a t-shirt range...tell us a bit about that and where we can get our hands on them?
hahahah the t-shirts are phenomenal. On the real I'll tell you where it came from - we did a show with my man Zuby (another Oxford Derived artist) and after the show the amount of t-shirts the dude shifted was intense. So we were like we get a good response at our shows generally what better way to get the name out there than to get people to wear ours across their chest!!! Plus with people not really paying for music anymore it makes sense really - plus t-shirts are cool and the design on the current GTA tshirt is pretty revolutionary hahaha. You can get em direct from us - www. gtaunderstand. com or www. myspace. com/gtaunderstand

Back to the music, where can we catch your next live performance?
April 25th somewhere in Leicester (hahhaha not quite sure the details yet) with Soweto Kinch. once we have more info it'll be up at www. myspace. com/chimaanya (haha just thought i'd plug another myspace)

And because we always like to end on a random note whats currently in your fridge?
HIPHOP- CAUSE WE KEEP IT FRESH TO DEATH MOTHER ZITCHESSSSSS.
