From Friday 14th Aug - Innovative performance showcase Fat Talent Live takes up residency at the prestigious Cobden Club, West London. The Cobden Club is a private members club located in West London and is well known throughout the UK. Many great and contemporary names have graced the stage and the venue hosts an eclectic range of music, from up and coming new bands to major touring acts

Hosted by the delectable ‘Chocolate Blonde’ , guaranteed to entertain you with her wit and insatiable energy!!

We will have our usual high calibre of fresh talent on rotation and performances include the best of the best in music, comedy, dance & fashion. A belated big up to Fat Talent LIVE!

Fat Talent LIVE is well worth a visit. I’ve been to a fair few talent shows in my time, some where I’ve politely clapped and wished for the curtain call, others where I’ve genuinely enjoyed the performances. This one, where the talented Chocolate Blonde launches into an impressively energetic song and dance to kick off proceedings was something very special indeed.


It was actually, honestly, the cream of unsigned talent, comprised of many young people, and a group of ESPECIALLY young people who go by the name of 'Fools Gold' had travelled all the way from Lincoln to perform. The dedication to music and fashion was evident in what I and a packed room full of guests witnessed. I thought I’d seen all the heartfelt ballads there were to witness in the world, until Jeremy St. John got his teeth into his reggae-inspired performance, and literally caused me a headache with the applause he earned. So, basically, I’m a resident at each and every live event from now.

On a recession busting note, the drinks aren’t too bad a price either, and there’s a lovely balcony for smokes and, I was surprised to discover, a full BBQ! I’m telling you... you don’t have any better way to spend a Sunday evening.

Chocolate Blonde
Miss Coco fantastic also doubles up as this months 'Guest host'. Musically 'Chocolate Blonde' is every bit her name a refreshing UK solo artist with fun, lust and drama in mind. Her writing and performance reflects her cool outrageous sound of catchy singing, straight to the point chatting and addictive dance moves, which all feature hand in hand on many of her tracks. She is a cocktail of Hip Pop RnB on ice. This high energy, high impact chick is the voice cheeky women everywhere have been looking for.

Ghost
hard hitting Hip hop from the street lyricist hailing from North London. You can expect a 'stand up' performance from Ghost and the members of the S.W.A.T team.....

Nine Dots

2 guys, 1 Producer + 1 Rapper = a vision that’s bringing real hip hop to the fore. Producer Kensaye and rapper Cage spread France, Ghana and the UK across their double act … They will be gracing the 'FTL' stage & performing tracks from their 'must buy' debut album ‘Brain Teaser....out NOW!!!!

Grace Obika
Grace Obika is a singer/songwriter from North London. Not only is she talented and gifted, but she is also what one would call ‘brains with beauty’ as she is a Biomedical Sciences (Hons) graduate. Check out Grace's beautiful vocals on the track 'So Right' featuring SWAY..def a feel good summer track.

E-Hustle
The popular performer is back again for a 2nd 'FTL' performance. The E-hustle uplifting brand of experimental hip hop is a crowd pleaser and he suprised us the first time round with some pretty nifty vocals...at the time we didn't know he could sing aswell! looking forward to round 2...

Nayohmie & band
A singer/song writer with a voice more experienced than her years suggest, at 15 years of age Nayohmie is a star in the making. So keep your ears to the ground.....you heard it hear first!!

Karmafree
Karmafree is a vocal and bass duo based in London. Members Mara and Dmitry originally are from Riga, Latvia. Music is a mixture of a various styles- Jazz, Funk, RnB, Soul, Hip-Hop etc. Lyrics bring messages about truth in life, encouraging people to open their eyes wider, get sight of true colours in life and think clearly with mind of Wisdom.


Annie Dale
Annie Dale is a brilliant soulful acoustic / pop singer and songwriter hailing from Hertfordshire. Aided by her keyboard & natural talent, you cannot help but be drawn in by Annie's melodic tones


Kandy Jay
19 year old Kandice Johnson; a naturally talented singer/songwriter, she performs under the stage name of ‘Kandy Jay’. She has been singing for a number of years, and is currently working on a variety of projects including her first promo ‘Stages of Love.’ Kandy Jay has been working tirelessly on new material that will propell her to new heights. There is a definetely more to come from her in the near future....

Delia Rene
Delia Rene has been singing and dancing since she can remember!..her flavour is a mix of rnb and garage which duly compliments her 'sweeter than sugar' vocals. Her current focus is on completing her debut album so stay tuned for that one!

Beatrix Players
Don't be fooled by the name: this talented 4 piece girl band are a far cry from the fluffy tailed stories of Tigglewinkle and pals. Unlike the stereotypical girl band these ladies are all talented musicians in their own right, playing a range of instruments from guitar to the violin & cello....seriously good!
